ITINERARIO

Day 1 - Welcome to Tierralta. Learn about the history of Tierralta through 2 sports: Cycling and Kayak.

  • 12:00 pm. Welcome and installation at the hotel
  • 12:30 pm - 02:00 pm. Lunch.
  • 02:00 pm - 04:00 pm. Cycle ride in the Alto Sinú Ecotourism Park. Low level, unpaved road 4 kilometers (Experience suitable for young people aged 4 and up). 4 paths are covered where the daily life of peasant communities is known.
  • 04:00 pm - 06:00 pm. Kayaking and bird watching activities in ecologists - Alto Sinú Ecotourism Park. In this experience you will learn about the processes of transformation and resistance of the territory that have been woven around the construction of the Urra reservoir.
  • 06:00 pm - 06:30 pm Sinuana surprise and return to the hotel by car.
  • 07:30 pm - 08:00 pm. Dinner.

    The Ciclopaseo and Kayak activities are led by a group of young people from the territory who created an association called ECOSINÚ, which seeks alternatives for a dignified life in the territory.

Day 2 - Live the Sinú adventure above, returning to the roots, connect with the protagonists of the story at the Urra reservoir. Enjoy bird and primate watching. Delight in the sweet nectar of sugar cane. Learn the ancestral knowledge and flavors of Alto Sinú.

  • 06:30 am - 07:00 am . Departure to Puerto Frasquillo.
  • 07:00 am - 07:30 am. Expohistory tour, where we will navigate the Urrá reservoir narrating the history of the territory.
  • 07:30 am - 11:00 am. Entrance to Sonora Island, on this island we will hike 2 kilometers, watch birds and primates. The island has a tropical dry humid forest ecosystem that is in the process of restoring flora and fauna, where we find 4 species of primates and a wide variety of flora, especially birds.
    In this experience you will learn about the union of the community to conserve and preserve Sonora Island. This experience is led by the FUNSINÚ foundation of farmers who are dedicated to conserving and preserving their territory.
  • 11:00 am - 11:30 am. Nautical tour to the Acre trail.
  • 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. Tour of the sugar cane mill where we will taste the different derivatives of sugar cane, such as honey and guarapo.
    This experience is led by 6 communities that came together through the ASOCAMSEIS association, to promote sustainable production systems by energizing local economies through community and sustainable tourism.
  • 12:30 pm - 02:00 pm. Lunch.
  • 02:00 pm - 02:30 pm. Nautical tour to the island of charm.
  • 02:30 pm - 04:30 pm. Discover the flavors of Alto Sinú through a unique gastronomic experience. Share the kitchen and the table with local farmers, who with wisdom and resilience have preserved ancestral recipes and the Zenú culture from production to preparation. Get down to business! Experience led by the APESCAR association.
  • 04:30 pm - 05:00 pm. Nautical tour back to Puerto Frasquillo.
  • 07:30 pm - 08:00 pm. Dinner.

Day 3 - The mountain heritage. Immerse yourself in an ancient culture and learn about its customs and traditions. Meet the Embera Katio people.

  • 06:00 am - 06:30 am. Breakfast.
  • 06:30 am - 07:00 am. Land movement Tuis Tuis path.
  • 07:00 am - 07:30 am. Welcome by a local Embera Katio guide.
  • 07:30 am - 12:00 pm. Hiking 4 kilometers of medium difficulty, on this route we will seek to reach the foothills of Cerro Murrucucu, where we will learn about the indigenous vision and cosmogony through walking, until we reach the Tuis Tuis waterfall, where we can cool off and swim in crystal clear waters ( Don't forget your swimsuit.
  • 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm. Entrance to the Tuis Tuis indigenous community, where we will learn about the traditional dances and customs of the territory.
  • 12:30 pm - 02:00 pm. Lunch.
  • 02:00 pm. - 04:00 pm. Craft workshops guided by the artisans and experts of the Embera Katío community.
  • ​04:00 pm - 04:30 pm. Farewell. Traditional dance.
    The activities are developed by an indigenous community that is part of an association called asingratuis that seeks to conserve and preserve the traditions and customs of the Embera Katio people.
  • 04:30 pm - 05:00 pm. Back to the hotel
  • 07:00 pm - 08:00 pm. Farewell dinner.

Day 4 - Say goodbye to the surprisingly magical Tierralta.

  • 09:00 am – 12:00 pm. Return to your place of origin
